Limitations of an outdated system and manual work

Our client, a leading industrial distributor, was struggling with the limitations of an outdated ordering system. The process of servicing wholesale customers was largely based on manual work - salespeople spent hours transcribing orders from e-mails and Excel sheets into the ERP system.

The lack of up-to-date online inventory information led to situations in which customers ordered unavailable products, generating delays and dissatisfaction. An additional challenge was the inability to present individual commercial terms online. Each contractor had unique discounts and credit limits, which had to be verified by phone or e-mail before implementing the new platform.

Main problems to solve:

  • Manual order processing

    Hundreds of hours lost each month on transcribing data from emails and Excel files to the ERP system.

  • Lack of data consistency

    Discrepancies in stock levels and prices between the central warehouse and the website.

  • No customer self-service

    Customers had no insight into the history of their invoices, payments, settlements and shipping statuses.

  • Low system performance

    The old system loaded slowly, discouraging contractors from placing large wholesale orders.

Quick cart and CSV import (Quick Order)

It allows you to instantly place wholesale orders by entering SKU codes or directly importing a product list from a CSV/Excel file. The process of adding hundreds of items to your cart takes just a few seconds.

Full automation of data exchange. Placed orders are immediately transferred to the customer's ERP system, and stock levels, prices and fulfillment statuses are updated automatically in real time.

24/7 access to order history, downloading PDF invoices, tracking shipments and managing employee accounts and their purchasing rights (e.g. budget limits for individual departments).
